Practice with your Team
Hands-on activities you can do with your Product team.
The Product Collaboration Framework
Has 2 tools that can be used for hands-on activities:
Collaboration Cards (individual) - cca. 30 min to 1h to complete individually as draft;
Product Team Charter (team) - cca. 1 to 2h to co-create as draft;
And 3 helpful models:
Dimensions of Product Development - useful as a vocabulary around key strengths and capabilities of each team member and of the Product team;
Dimensions of Team Development - useful as a vocabulary around areas the team could focus on, to develop as a team;
Decision Making Modes - useful for deciding how to decide, as a team.
If all of this sounds useful for your own context, check these resources:
A video walkthrough of the framework (recorded during Collab Fest);
A browsable Miro board with all the elements of the Product Collaboration Framework.

Visual Notes: Monetization Models
Elena Verna's talk at the Amplify '22 conference felt like a masterclass in monetization models for digital products.
I've created a map with my visual notes based on Elena's talk, with the hope that it will help you discover and better navigate the richness of insights shared in just 39 minutes.
Some of my key takeaways:
There are 4 dimensions of any monetization model:
Scale: How does our price scale?
What: What features or attributes do customers gets?
Amount: How much do we charge?
When: When do we charge?
Outcome-based, usage-based, feature-based monetization models have different pros and cons on the ”predictability to customer / alignment to customer outcomes” matrix;
Aim to optimize the current monetization model first before redesigning it.
Product Knowledge Mapping Project
Visual maps based on the works of knowledge sharers in the Product space.
I’ve recently shared on LinkedIn new visual maps based on the works of:
Petra Wille (Strong Product People) - see visual map with illustrations;
John Cutler (Amplitude) - see visual map with Twitter images;
Teresa Torres (Product Talk) - see visual map with article images.
Enjoy exploring and let me know (reply to this e-mail) how you’re using these maps. Thanks to everyone who already shared feedback via LinkedIn 🤝
